Meet Our Staff

Sarah Robinson, Owner/Teacher

Sarah Robinson has been creating and teaching dance for 21 years. She enjoys teaching all styles of dance and working with students of all ages. Certified in Acrobatic Arts and Alixa Flexibility, she believes in safe progressions and training.


Sarah has managed competition dance teams for 20 years, receiving many national honors including the Super Tap award.


Born and raised in St. Joseph, MO, Sarah began her dance training with Jeanne Houston. She was a member of the Missouri Western State University dance company under the direction of Paul Chambers. Sarah went on to teach ballroom and modern dance with Paul, and then began teaching in studios.


When she isn't dancing, Sarah loves spending time with her husband and two children, cheering on the KC Chiefs and travel.


Vicki Sindelar, Office Manager

Vicki is the friendly face you will see when you enter the studio. She will check-in your student and make sure you are up-to-date on important dates and events.


She is married to Frank, the mother of three and "Nana" to six girls and two boys. Her favorite thing is spending time with her family.


Vicki also enjoys educating about essential oils and teaching etiquette classes for all ages with Finishing Touches School of Etiquette.



Mrs. Cassie Zug brings over 30 years of dance and teaching experience. Born and raised in St. Joseph, she studied at the Dance Arts Center under the direction of Lynn Fankhauser. She was a member of Dance Midwest, performing in Europe and across the United States.

Outside the studio, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 amazing children. You can usually find them in Kansas City cheering on the Royals or the Chiefs.

Mrs. Cassie is excited to be sharing her knowledge and passion for dance with the students of Studio 29!

Abigail Robinson, Teacher

Miss Abbey has been dancing all of her life. She enjoys all styles of dance, but loves improvisation, jazz, and contemporary.

Abbey is a member of the Studio 29 competition team and has received multiple scholarships and top 10 finishes in her years of dance. When she isn't dancing, Abbey loves cheering on the SJCS Lions as part of the varsity cheer squad.

Abbey enjoys reading, crafting, and traveling in her down time.
