Policies

Tuition

Tuition is based on a 10-month season. Tuition is due on the first of every month. A $10.00 late fee will be added to all payments made after the 5th of the month. Tuition is non-refundable. Tuition will not be reduced due to missed classes. Make-up classes can be arranged through the front desk. A registration fee of $30.00 is due when enrolling.

Recital

Dress rehearsal and recital are held at the theater each year.  A $40.00 recital fee will be added to your account on March 1st.  This fee helps offset the cost of our production and includes a digital download of the recital.  This fee will not exceed $80.00 per family.  

Costumes

All costumes include tights and accessories. Costume fees are due November 1st. Your child's costume will not be ordered if the costume fee is not paid. Costume fees can be added to monthly tuition September-November.  

Little Stars $75.00

Weather Policy

Studio 29 will close for bad weather when the St. Joseph School District cancels class. Class cancellations will be posted on social media and on KQ2. Emails will also be sent to all current students with weather updates.  

Conduct

Studio 29 reserves the right to dismiss any student, without tuition refund, if the student's conduct is harmful, disrespectful, or does not hold up to Studio 29 policies.  

Attire

Studio 29 is pleased to offer leotards, tights, and dance shoes for sale in our lobby. Please email info@dancewithstudio29.com to schedule a fitting.

Dance with Me:  Leotard, skirted leotard, or biketard.  Tan Tights.  Shoes are not required.  Athletic wear for boys.

Little Stars:  Leotard, skirted leotard, or biketard.  Tan Tights.  Pink Ballet Shoes & Black Tap Shoes.

Combo Classes: Leotard, skirted leotard, or biketard.  Tan Tights.  Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes for Ballet Combo.  Black Tennis Shoes for the Hip-Hop/Acro Combo.

Tumbling: Leotard or biketard. Tan Tights. (Tights should be stirrup, convertible, or footless.)  No Shoes

Beg-Adv. Tap:  Dancewear or athletic attire.  Tap Shoes.

Beg.-Adv. Jazz: Dance attire, tan tights, tan jazz shoes.

Beg.-Adv. Lyrical: Leotard, dance shorts, tan tights.  Tan turners.  

Beg.-Adv. Hip-Hop: Dancewear or athletic attire.  Black Tennis Shoes.

Beg.-Adv. Ballet: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes.
